At present work includes:
Researching history of local streets.
Keeping Timeline up to date.
Adding to the Society’s library of photographs of local interest, which is very extensive.
Developing techniques to accurately superimpose current maps on historical maps and draw old maps to a modern scale. This has enabled a more accurate definition of historical features such as the boundary of Bilton Park. This work has been extended to cover the area north of the Nidd and the boundaries of the Forest of Knaresborough.
